We are planning to hire a native speaker of English as our baby-sitter for our 1.5 years to learn English, and language tongue. We are particularly interested in whether there is evidence (based on reliable research) benefits or injuries to the introduction of a new language at this age? I do not remember the names of study, but I heard that child under 5 years is very likely to choose a language more easily, and after that age, they lose their innate abilitly, so it's a good idea to introduce a second language to allow your baby to be bilingual now, and it will be more difficult when he is older.
