Children have lots of energy. In fact, may have more energy than their parents, if you take a nap and were stuck in an airplane or a seat car for hours at a time. And once they reach their destination, a new set of challenges begin.
So what should parents do?
I Here are five tips to keep your child happy during the holidays and long journeys, whether on the road or by air.
1. The more important when traveling with children Small is good preparation. They have many activities on hand, as well as snacks and beverages during travel. By all means, stay away from snacks and soft drinks, which can power amplifier to your child when you want less.
2. Keep your child busy. Pack old favorite son, and a new book, new activities and the packet of crayons or pencils color. Want to book your child's favorite blanket and a sweet caress up in.
A time to just snuggle with mom or dad or a nap extra can make a big difference in the ambience of your child. If nothing works to calm your child, try to simply reduce the stimulus around his son for 20 minutes or less. Take a peaceful walk or ride her in a quiet and maintain his or rock until it sleeps well or you can see the tension begin to fall.
3. Encourage your child to wash their hands frequently. Cars own groceries, strollers for rent, and other surfaces with antibacterial wipes, if possible. With his new son sleeping habits and feeding, which may be more susceptible to disease and do not want to finish the trip with a sick child.
4. Do your best to stay calm whatever happens. You know how children tend to reflect their emotions, and never more so than when they are away from the comforts of home and routine.
If you encounter delays in your trip or if your child shows signs of a crisis, keep your voice firm and speak slowly. Gently rub the back of your baby and sing a song softly. This can do wonders to calm the nerves.
5. Please note that your child may need more sleep than normal. In holiday, families tend to go, go, go – but a small child can easily be overwhelmed and excited, especially with new sites, smells, tastes and sounds.
When visiting relatives and friends who have young children themselves, be polite, but firm to respect your child's nap and bedtime. Plus you can manage to keep the child in a predictable routine, the more likely it is to make the journey in stride.
Few things are as fun and rewarding than discovering the world anew through the eyes of your child. Enjoy this special moment, take lots of pictures and enjoy the adventure.

My child should travel with their grandparents without me with them?
Godmother wants to take my little boy of 2 years with her outside the state (about 5 hours a unit). This gives me my husband and 6 days alone with the children. But I fear that more or less. I do not think I can not trust him. Should I let my son go with them?
N The child is too young to travel out of state without their parents. If you were around for a day or two is fine. Wait until your child is a little older, like 5 years.
