Names Nuby system can be confusing, but find out what is what will help you avoid non-toxic plastic. I confirmed with Nuby products are free of bisphenol A and phthalates. I was at Walmart and I saw that come with teething rings Playtex looks like a Binky! The part that goes in the mouth is flat, hard cover and textured silicone. In fact, I just bought a weekend for my daughter because she starts to teeth. I read about them in a magazine and was intrigued. I think it depends on the baby. My daughter loves. But my nephew the other do not. I think it's a preference. Good luck!
