What makes Christmas so special? Is it all those smiling faces and happy people are generally more relaxed, being away from work, the parties and meet old friends and family, getting lots of gifts on Christmas morning. The choice is endless. I think the art of giving is what Christmas is really a moment very special year. The look of appreciation and gratitude in the face of someone special to open the gift you gave that little extra effort is worth its weight in gold.

So what makes a special gift? Well, not as hard as you may think, does not mean you have to do, but immediately obvious to the recipient the effort you put in if he does. A special gift just for thought, and the amount of thought put into your gift more special than develops. Instead of being driven by marketing, pricing and availability or running in the shops a few days before Christmas, seizing all that is left on the shelves, early onset, and think of the person the gift is for.

What kind of person is he? It sounds simple, but we're all guilty of seeing a good price on a set of products bathrooms for men and mentally run through our Wish List to see who can come. So invest the process, take your gift list and spend some time thinking about each person in it (it is not necessary for everyone, but at least its close and special that deserve some thought).

So is the person on the list a kind of fun loving person or are a little more seriously. Do they like fine wine or food? Are they into music? Like the movies? Will love to bury your head in a good book and if so what kind like? Do you enjoy a fragrance or perfume? Jewelry might be appropriate? Is there a link between what can be used with the object of a gift around? Questions could be endless, but believe me when I say that if you really know the person in question, then you have a gift idea quickly and that means more.

I think the question "Is there a link between us that I can make about a gift? tends to result in some really extra special gifts. An example is a friend whom I had spent a week in Greece during the summer so at Christmas, I took an old shoe box and decorated with a collage made from photos of our vacation and a bottle of ouzo, a mixture of olives and feta cheese and tied closed with raffia. She loved and add to the specialty that we have spent a good two hours of laughter and Remember that time we had this summer. Another example could be my father. We had a very special bond when it came to fishing, too Young as I remember he always took me with him on a weekend and I spent many a great day sitting next to the river throughout the year. So, if it sounds like it was too much trouble, or you do not have time, do not know where to start or a very long list of excuses which are simply continue Christmas shopping as it did last year. Just take a person on your list who is most special in your life and there think, think what you could give them a very special gift of Christmas. And if you do, and you follow through, I can assure you that the feeling experienced in giving a gift that you take time to reflect on the desire to become addictive and knowing all that time does not include return to old ways … Well that everyone not on the list!
