Therefore, going to board a plane with your baby. Before going on a flight to the United States, you must find the rules and regulations Aviation Safety in particular, and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). These rules govern what can and can not do with your child during the flight. Most domestic airlines follow the following guidelines:
- Below 40 pounds or two years, a child must be either the knees of a passenger who pays or should be in a basket, like a car seat or a convertible constraint. In addition, it must be located in the recess a third row start. The restraint system for children must have a label of approval from the FAA and must be securely fastened in an aircraft seat using the seat belts provided.
- All children over 40 pounds must have their own seat and seatbelt still low and snug on the hips. Booster seats are not allowed.
Baby on Board
Traveling with a baby is one of two options. The first is to take your baby and sit with them on his lap. The airline allows you to take your baby in a vehicle, while the aircraft is in flight. However, during takeoff, turbulence, with the seat belt sign, and landing must remove your company (or scarf) and hold your baby in his arms. If you choose this option will be required to buy a seat ticket, but this option has obvious safety issues to consider, since only be limited in his arms. Some companies allow carriers do not have this option.
The second option is to take along a seat approved by the FAA. A car seat must have a sticker in that regard, stuck somewhere, usually you can find at the bottom of the seat. If your car seat does not have a label attached to it, then you call the manufacturer and ask if the seat of the car you have is approved by the FAA or not.
If approved car seat for your baby, you're with you on the plane and its place in the seat next to you. This option requires that you purchase an extra seat for their child's trip, although you may be able to obtain discount or a seat in a crowded airplane, if you ask. The carrier must be in a window seat to avoid blocking other passengers in and out their seats. Also, make sure that there is larger than sixteen inches, the width of most airline seats.
If you go in this way, and if traveling alone with your baby, you quickly realize that you are superhuman effort to restore the car, their luggage and your baby! Try this: Use a front carrier like a Snugli or Baby Bjorn Baby inside the trunk, then the seat belt behind her with a Cheeky Monkey Pac Back. This way you always have your hands free.
Flight Options for infants
If your baby is between 22 and 44 pounds, you have three options. The first is to keep your child under two years in turn. This scenario is the same as if your child still and child. The second option is to use a safety seat approved by the FAA, which will be guaranteed window of the plane.
The third and the new option is called a harness CARES flight harness. This restraint system fits easily in your hand luggage or purse, you can book the Instead of a car seat for children between 22 and 44, or 1 to 4 years. The harness is FAA approved for flight and is much less bulky than trying carry your car seat to the airport and the aircraft. While CARES flight harness can be a bit expensive at about $ 75, which also ensures that your child is as safe as possible, which I think is invaluable.
Traveling with your baby or child can seem a daunting process. But with a little research and planning, you and your baby can be happy and safe in the aircraft. Always check with the airline fly to be aware of other rules and regulations. This can usually be found on its Web site. Bon voyage and happy!

How young is too young for a Doodlebops concert? We take our 3-1/2-year-old, but what about a baby?
We take 3-1/2-year-old our daughter to see the Doodlebops in Hershey, PA next weekend, but might not be able to find a babysitter for our 4-month-old son. Someone Has he been to any of these programs? Would it be too intense for the baby? I think I can attach it to the Snugli and will love the song and dance, but I expected a review from someone who has experienced in these matters!
I do not think that child care anyway. From positive side the baby will be around you all the time and not on the site of a nanny. I really like dancing and singing since the movements be gentle. Go and have fun.
