Smart Support
Smart Support

One of the most expensive (and common) mistakes in writing grant writing is clear, not targeted. No matter how clear the rest of May be your proposal, lenders want to know what measurable change or a benefit to the population. The goal statements inaccurate leave the reader wondering what exactly the program plans to grant access.
Writing successful grant includes SMART goals: specific, measurable, achievable, and time limits – hence the acronym SMART. Writing SMART objectives can make difference between success and failure in a grant proposal.
SMART goals are:
- By writing the specific objectives of subsidies to the poor confused mission statements. Mission statements are broad. The objectives are very specific and better define a broader objective. For example, a statement of purpose might be, "Increase student achievement." A goal of supporting this objective could be "10% of students participating in the program increased their scores on standardized tests of mathematics to a level by the end of the year. "Note: Since mission statements are broad, must be supported by multiple objectives. In this example, the statement of purpose could be supported by the objectives of specific measure gains in math, science, and English proficiency.
- Written measurable subsidy tends to confuse the poor activity statements for the objectives. The factual statement describing any activities, methods, or what to do. In contrast, statements that measure the results of their activities. The sources of funding Learn How are measurable changes your money to support you. For example, if your goal is to increase the average score of participants in an academic test, they say how points the average score is increased. If your goal is to change the attitudes of teenagers about drugs and alcohol, the state of which instrument to use measure the increase in this score and post-test than you expect.
- You can get: SMART goals are realistic and affordable. If you wrote that the proposal for an after school program removes all forms of juvenile crime in the area – is likely to arouse skepticism. Money the subsidy is more likely to be assigned to the proposal to reduce the incidence of juvenile crime in their area by 20%. Remember that grant writing is persuasive writing and must convince the reader that their goals are possible.
- Relevant: SMART objectives directly support the objectives of the proposal and indicate the need to quantify the population served by the project. Your goals must be relevant to mission statement and priorities of the funding source as outlined in the RFP (Request for Proposal) or the location of the organization funding.
- With time limits: sources of funding does not just want to know what to measure the change that we pay, but also when it is expected that to happen. Tell the reader when the project will reach every goal in his proposal. Funding agencies know that goals without deadlines are rarely met. Also make sure that your date for the application of the fall session in the funding period. If you specify the dates come after the concession period, which could be perceived as an attempt to avoid accountability for results. Organizations Funding can not maintain its responsibility for project deadlines that come after the period of funding ends.

Why do people say to be smart to support their opinions and world view is right?
I saw these cases appear especially the notoriously conservative side. If the argument is impeccable, why not try to focus on the points of debate, but not all I am This intelligent person "and" that. " The debates are to be precise, the point is not an autobiography, and then a few fragments of views here and there to keep the argument of the fall. I think such arguments are constructed in the category of worst to initiate discussions on Regulation political differences. Note that this type of event boasts of its intelligence, even before I noticed that their position http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index; _ylt = At.zKQj80ns6OqOavygXvVzty6IX; _ylv = 3? This implies that the person is not so beautiful must disagree with him. In sociological terms, is called "closure" – an attempt to close the other side before they During their arguments. In the discussion of terms, is a red flag that the guy does not have a solid defense and is based on the attitude to win. People who are really not smart to have written that if it is related topics. They show with facts and logic.
