Sam Butcher began more than 30 years devoted to creating wonderful gifts from friends and family around the children is charming with shaped Tears fell from his eyes, he called these his "Precious Moments".

A few years later, the company CEO Gene M. Friedman contact Enesco Sam and convinced him to leave Enesco create a figure based on works of art by Sam called "love." Fujiokasan was the master sculptor who has contributed to the art the life of Sam Sam was so excited by the result of figures who actually cried at first sight. Who was literally the moment more crucial in its history.
Twenty-one beautiful and original figures in the markets in 1978. The collection was a great success everywhere. Sam has received hundreds if not thousands of letters of inspiration for customers who have told how the figures have meant so much to their lives and how he brought so much joy for too.
In 2005, Precious Moments, Inc. came to life and figurines found a new home for Enesco. Each year, new figures are introduced in the world and the sites are all types of collectors and links for fans. Did you know that there is also a park Precious Moments in 1989, which has a very beautiful chapel at the base and has more than 350,000 visitors through its doors each year in Carthage, Missouri?
