Farmers may be different in appearance, and generally come in three different shades of color: Chocolate, Yellow and Black. Each of these tones in May vary slightly, so that every Labrador retriever in May is a little different. Some people believe that the color of our skin affects our health and temperament, although there has been no scientific study to back this up.
A very common belief shared by some enthusiastic Retriever Labrador is that farmers have the best quality yellow General Health. This was very common in the early development of the Labrador Breed in England, like any other color than black was suspected after crosses. This misconception continues to this day, although Amarillo chocolate and farmers have proved to be variants of the actual color of Labradors purebred.
Genetics
Like human beings, we peasants have specific genetic characteristics that determine color your hair after development. At the genetic level, there are some important factors that affect coat color.
A Labrador Black will have one or both copies of the dominant gene for the color black. These copies of the gene is located in place of the dominant color or 'D' locus. If a black Labrador with two copies of the dominant gene for black skin racing with another Labrador with two copies of this gene, all puppies will be black.
A chocolate Labrador retriever has a copy of the dominant black skin "of genes, but also farmers chocolate has two copies of the recessive gene for color color brown in the recessive locus, also called "B" to act.
A Yellow Labrador Retriever has two copies of the recessive gene for color skin in the "E" (dominant), location, and also two copies of the recessive gene hides in the "B" to act.
Most Labrador Retriever noses also have different colors depending on their genetic profile. It is even possible to have a labrador to have a nose that is two or more colors (like pink and black or brown and pink).
