How can children's songs to help adults improve their English pronunciation? For some of the same reasons that help English-speaking children learn the rhythms and rhyme patterns of his first language.
Rhymes attract children's attention to important features of language, and it has been shown to help kids learn rhythm and intonation patterns of English pronunciation. They also help children learn to articulate the different sounds, because they often use the repetition of the rhyme.
While adults learn language differently from the way children, learning rhymes and repetition may still be very useful for adult learners English. Rhymes provide small pieces of language that can be easily learned and repeated. Provide a manageable number of language-related practice and review. In addition, the rhymes to facilitate access to part of English culture that is shared between countries. As there are many references to nursery rhyme characters, having knowledge of the most common rhymes gives students learning English-vision an important part of culture, and pronunciation.
Another advantage is that the rhymes are very easy to find. In any library with English books for children is almost certainly a kind of collection of nursery rhymes. English public libraries have many different versions of familiar rhymes, and an Internet search for "Rhymes" or "Mother Goose" will bring many useful links. Some of them have audio files so that adults can listen and repeat rhymes. YouTube even has a series of lessons in American accent in English for ESL students based on nursery rhymes.
It is clear that the only rhyme are not just for kids! They are an effective way for students to improve their English pronunciation.
