If you have a baby or child in May and have seen the softness and luxurious fabrics Minky. Minky is relatively new, soft and silky microfiber that rivals cashmere smooth and silky touch reproduces real mink. How do I sew satin binding around a double layer or blanket Minky Minkee?
I'm sewing satin binding around a double Minky Minkee layer or blanket for my daughter. I am relatively new to sewing, but understand the basics. I have great difficulty keeping the union in its place! Any suggestions on how to sew the binding to Minky without bundling and sliding would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! Sandra
When I work with most items in tissue to the hem or slippery I use UHU glue stick. (Avery Glue Sticks are also good) I'm long queues in the queue, double my iron fabric before and press lightly to dry to support it.
