Eight of us are smart, laugh and drink champagne in Spanish colonial Carolina in front of Mission Santa Barbara. The room is romantic with dozens Pale peach roses, there is a burning fire, and we are ready for dinner at Brophy Brothers when the phone rings.

Lovie Smith: Time to go?
