In general, all women suffer from excessive media focus on skinny models. Studies showed that, regardless of the weight of the woman and the level of attractiveness, which always feels less confident after reading fashion magazines. So what we do about this? Usually, models and movie stars are enemy number one when it comes to helping women to have of positive self-images. But the tide turning? Spain has made a bold position in 2006 to its ban on underweight models Madrid Fashion Week. More recently, a handful of pop stars are parading proudly with their hips and body substance on the red carpet. A small group of models and magazine publishers have light battalion mutinied, depicting a growing number of models of branded clothing size on the front covers. Added to that the designers pay particular attention to women with rounded figures.
