OK, except for urgent adoption to be considered "persons seniors (at least not yet), I fully agree with the quote above. Robert Lane, 90, helped create this website called Gray is green after convincing their Connecticut retirement community to save energy. It is interesting, with lots of cool links and a Blog I think you just created. Go check it out.
As talk of the effect of warming and increasingly the baby boomers become 'eco-activists, "old Americans are increasingly a position on the environment and more involved. A recent survey revealed more than 55 years are more likely than any other age group for the conservation of energy in their homes. In a generation, they also organize and the online resources more and more of our energy, time and capital into the savings target and slowing the disappearance of our planet. We know that our efforts to expand and improve the quality of life for our children and grandchildren.
"Our generation defeated fascism and imperialism Japanese, "said Robert Lane," But we have exploited the earth. So, we owe our grandchildren to do everything to fix it. "
So what you do and I am personally to help the earth? I hope that we all now use tissues from Nice, reusable grocery bags and staff to do our part to get out of indestructible plastic bags that dot our landscape. Will we ever, to the point that China and ban it? This is small part of the environmental movement that we baby boomers have begun to adopt. But perhaps may sound insignificant, more and more involvement and how "our side" will cause a rise in public concern and participation. As baby boomers prepare to take the world generation and become the largest and most influential future, make sure that individually and collectively, to "our side" and that "Our voice "heard throughout the United States and worldwide.
