Basically back to what you want in a survival knife. If I had to choose a knife to take with me in a survival situation is the Gerber LMF II. But if I could take two, I take the SOG Seal Pup Elite as well as a weapon.

What kind of food other materials for my son, in addition to Gerber?
Everything you see in stores in early child solid food is made by Gerber. Can I make applesauce regular (perhaps with a little less sugar) or slurry of my own fruit / végső? Please shed some light.
Of course, you can make your own baby food, and probably would be much better than Gerber while ago.
