Easter is often regarded as nothing more than a Christian holiday celebrated worldwide. Easter marks the resurrection Jesus Christ, Son of God. cold of winter and with it has brought light and warmth of spring. The ancient Greeks celebrated the return of Eostre and spring with pagan festivals. As with many pagan festivals, the date coincides with the equinox in the year March 21 all day. Because the party should be planned according to the full moon, Easter is celebrated in May March 22 or as late as April 25.
