When our babies become toddlers, we are always amazed at what they do. Her curiosity and amazes the pure joy of us one child can express makes our hearts swell. Obviously we want to do everything possible to help them grow, help them develop their small worlds and ensure their future. There are countless products on the market to do these things very often, however, tried and true methods that parents have joined the generations work more magic in their lives. These methods include wooden blocks. You know the – small toys with brightly colored blocks letters and numbers are part of the toy box of almost all children.

The addition of blocks of wood in the daily activities of a child is easy to do and allows parents an opportunity to bond with their babies. Ask any parent of a toddler and they you say some of the best moments of their lives when they are on the ground with their young children. They are surrounded by colorful wooden toys, blocks and moments privileged, the world is still standing, who see this child fingers carefully incredible little pile of these little blocks of three and high only to reverse later on second four blocks, all the time shouting for joy.

Blocks of wood are ideal at this stage of life when language and verbal skills are developing and a hand to eye coordination. It is also the time when the imagination is being developed. The textures of the blocs are recognized as young children have a peculiar taste, roll in your hands and discover the forms are kept constant.

Although the wood blocks were around for many years, shapes, sizes and even colors have evolved. Parents are no longer limited to small 2 "x2" square blocks, current versions of the cylinders, triangles and rectangles. They are available in several widths and lengths. These toys are ideal for encouraging children of this age.

The benefits of block play are well documented. They have been associated with skills in higher mathematics and solve problems. Point Psychologically, the blocks present what is known as divergent problems, problems that more than one solution. No surprise, then, the blocks are ideal for promoting creative thinking to find many solutions to a single problem.

So how can we as parents help our children benefit more from small blocks? Here are some ideas:

 • Encourage your child to the first stacked blocks. You can be sure to have your full attention, looking closely, then try to imitate your project is completed.

 • As you are in the building two plants with the blocks, use over time by combining a story we are building with blocks. Not only are you taking in each word you say, but they follow closely the movements of their hand and try to recreate their own woodworking art.

 • Also important as a whole is to his son, Block Play presents an opportunity for developing social skills including siblings or friends for play.

Remember, children are seeking approval for mom and dad. Make sure to applaud their achievements and share their enthusiasm. Perhaps the most important gift parents can give their children – the gift of adoption.
