Hello! I was wondering if anyone of you here have tried to make their own clothes burp? Our baby is not due til March and we have a shower in January. No sewing, but my husband can not. I was wondering what type of material used to make clothing? I know they have the thickest bulky, but I have heard of people using 2 pieces of flannel together, but there is something in it or not? Or perhaps some towels sewn together? It should not be thick, like those who sell diapers. I thought it was some kind of fresh and colorful, if we can do ourselves some burp cloths. What do you think? Oh, this is big hand sewing and what you think they should be?

They must be made something soft and absorbent as terry cloth or flannel, and should be the size of a standard kitchen towel.
