What is the Blue Mountain Cards? Back in the 90s there was a huge wave of companies trying to provide electronic cards online. I do not know exactly how a business model based on the idea of giving a free ecard, but they did. What is noteworthy, is that the revenue models of advertising is considered very acceptable at this time. There is a difference in the focus current real income. However, there are some painful similarities in the Web 2.0 idea of building big applications that will make money from advertising.
The electronic card is a space of pleasure. The business model is essentially one who kills another business model, the paper maps Greeting space. Somehow is a case study of normal technological progress on product-based paper. But we must look deeper. An electronic map is not the same as a paper map. You buy a paper map in a physical store and write. The postcards that are purchased online and never touches the paper. Thus, there is a transition between the actual product. I bet that many people want this kind of schedule.
So now It is 2008 and What a business model such as maps of the blue mountains still doing here? One view is that the builders have chosen the company after a period of useful life out of business and has achieved an amount of money without precedent .. I often wonder if management teams, such they are really lucky to create because of their experience. This is no small undertaking.
