When is it safe to put a "Lovey" in bed with my son?
My son, aged 6 months is an animal "Lovey" is very close (a small blanket / stuffed one). I wonder when is it safe to start putting him in his crib with him at bedtime? Now, He sleeps with a pillow, but nothing else in the crib (he had reflux very bad when I was younger and the doctor told us of a proposed pillow while he slept, and HES now accustomed to it and not sleep without one). You can do as a professional and go through the bed. I need opinions and answers from experienced parents please!
As a mother of two and provider childcare at home, I always preferred to let the object of 6 months and older. In my opinion, 6 months, they are old enough to move an object may block your face and can roll with the necessary competence to even a light blanket to be there from time to time. My daughter is 11 months is also attached to a blanket of insecurity, his is a rabbit, has slept with that thing hanging from his mouth because he was old 6 months:)
