My son is about to be 7 months old and cries all the time unless he is being held.?
He has many play stations that I put him in and Baby Einstein movies which he used to love before he got in this stage. He does not even acknowledge them. I have let him cry it out for about 5 minutes then gradually moved the time to 30 minutes and he would scream the whole time, and instantly when he saw me reach for him to pick him up he would stop screaming. He didn’t start this until he was about 5 months and now getting him to sleep is even a nightmare. I don’t believe it Colic because it started so late and I thought that if they didn’t have it when they were born they couldn’t just develop it. I’m at a loss here and i have no clue what to do. Any help please???
You put your baby in front of a TV in various plastic baby containers, let him cry for 30 minutes at a time, and wonder why he would rather be held? Why can’t you just hold him? Too busy to actually parent? It’s not colic. It’s neglect.
This is not a complicated issue, though you seem to be making it as such. Hold your baby. Tend to him when he cries. Love him. Voila, happy baby.
