Baby Einstein movies are actually suitable for development?
How are they different from normal TV viewing? Is this not only into the bad habit of sitting and watching television instead of being active, like many children do now? I understand that the DVD is supposed to develop the language skills. I have a baby 4 months and I just had trouble believing they are so good for him to watch. Unable to achieve development of language itself to expose a large number of languages and having to listen to music? (I have the Baby Einstein CDs and love them.) Thoughts? Comments?

A recent study has shown that something children learn less than 6.7 words per hour of Baby Einstein, who saw their non-observation to make. infants and young children learn through interaction face to face, television is not only unnecessary, but replaces the interaction and leads to slower learning less /.
