Baby showers is an exciting event in the calendar of pregnancy and of course one of the most important agenda is the opening of gifts. You hear all the "oohs and aaah" when the pregnant mother develops all the wonderful little gifts.
So what you get for a baby shower present? Well, I noticed that when the mother opened something handmade, which almost always gets the most great reaction! See all baby gifts are welcome and appreciated, but when something unique is that they are only for your baby – it makes you feel very special.
Plus you get the credit for a handmade gift for years to come. Personally, I I made blankets for a baby shower long after years and still praise me for my skill. "You're Aunt Teresa for you. "
So, here is a basic guide to truly make a single blanket! SSSSOOOO Believe me, it's easy. If you can sew (or almost) straight lines, then you can do it!
Cover SINGLE!
STEP 1: Go to a fabric store and find the flannel material.
STEP 2: Choose 2 fabrics one by each side. They do not necessarily match – adventure! Maybe make a pattern and later united reason other side or another model blue and pink if you know the sex the baby.
STEP 3: Purchase of 1.2 meters of each material.
STEP 4: At home: Pin together the 2 pieces of cloth with the head oriented model.
STEP 5: Sew straight lines around all the edges leaving a hole of 10 cm square.
STEP 6: Place the fabric inside.
STEP 7: Meter the area around the hole so it looks like the rest of coverage.
STEP 8: Thing 2 straight lines on the edge of coverage. This is done for 2 reasons. A) To sew all parties when the tissue is disrupted. B) Border Nice.
If you are a little more experience and then experiment with bold border stitching.
STEP 9: Double well and add ribbon and a note that says "Made with love"
STEP 10: Give your special blanket made by hand and see your face when you realize you've taken the time and effort to make your very special baby gift truly unique!

My daughter is 9 soon, she still sleeps with she folds it and puts it over his eyes so that light does not reach its eyes.i bought some of these things to put on your eyes when you sleep, but she wants just your cover! It was the first thing she was wrapped in when she was born, his thinning, got some holes, but she loves him, she uses a blanket picnic for a cape making it a hat, use it for everything except its goal of coverage! who loves has not intend to renounce, and instant messaging does not stop, I think it's very sweet! xxxx
