An Afghan hook is often known as a shot, or just throw a blanket. They tend to be completely handmade, not commercially available in large quantities. Used for chairs and sofas and decor such as blankets for cold nights turn.

How can I knit an Afghan / throw?
I picked up the point and I decided to move from scarves, hats and shoes to an Afghan / throw! I found a lot of free patterns, all beautiful, but some of the directions confuse me. Some patterns call a circular knitting needle, but any point in the cycle. Will I need any other equipment to accomplish this feat? Is it always like this? Moreover, some advice to others (as we want you to know when it started) you can offer? Thank you!
You use the circular needle, because it has more stitches. It would be very difficult to knit with 18 "needles. You can put more points on a circular needle. Just join as you would a scarf, a certain number of points, then returns to work and work in another address.
